Forty Unicorns traveled to Fiji for an unforgettable international dive adventure filled with reef and shark dives, land excursions, laughter, cultural experiences and the kind of community connection that made the trip about much more than diving.
A Dive Adventure That Became a Cultural Journey
In April 2026, 40 Unicorns made the journey to Fiji for an international dive adventure at the Pearl of the Pacific Resort & Spa. Divers came ready for daily time underwater, while a handful of non-diving Unicorns — affectionately known as the “Land Lads” — created their own adventures on land.
The trip quickly became more than a schedule of dives. It was a chance to experience Fiji together: underwater, around the dinner table, on village roads and riverbanks, during evening entertainment, and through genuine connections with local people.
From morning shark dives to cultural experiences and unexpected moments of generosity, Fiji gave the Unicorn community memories that will stay with us long after the tanks were empty.
Two Dives Every Morning
For the divers, mornings were all about getting underwater. Each day featured a two-tank morning dive, with the group exploring Fiji’s reefs or heading out for shark dives.
The daily routine gave the divers plenty of time to experience Fiji beneath the surface while leaving afternoons and evenings open for excursions, relaxation and time with the full group.
The Shenanigans Committee made sure the diving came with plenty of personality, providing funny shark wearables and themed activities that kept the trip playful.
The Land Lads Had Their Own Adventures
Not everyone came to Fiji to dive — and that was part of what made the trip so special. The Land Lads headed out on land excursions while the divers were underwater, exploring the destination and creating their own Fiji memories.
Later, the two groups reunited for lunch, dinner and evening activities, making the trip inclusive for divers and non-divers alike.
Fiji Was Waiting Above the Water, Too
Once the morning dives were finished, the Unicorns had plenty of opportunities to experience Fiji together. Lunches and dinners brought everyone back together, while evening activities gave the group new ways to laugh, relax and enjoy the destination.
Village, People & Connection
We experienced Fijian culture, met local people and connected with the community in ways that made the trip deeply personal.
River Excursion
A mixed group enjoyed a river excursion that included a village tour, waterfalls and river tubing.
Hot Stone Walking & Fire Dance
Shared evening experiences included hot stone walking and a fire dance show.
The People of Fiji Gave Us the Story We’ll Remember
The Unicorn community also supported the Fijian community during the trip. We spent meaningful time experiencing local culture, mingling with local people and connecting beyond the usual tourist experience. The result was a cultural experience that became one of the most memorable parts of the adventure.
A Trip Worth Reliving
Forty Unicorns came to Fiji with different ways of experiencing the trip. We left with shared stories: dives with sharks and on reefs, land excursions, river tubing, village visits, cultural experiences, laughter, meals, massages, evening shows and connections made along the way.
The ocean brought us to Fiji, but the people, culture and community made the adventure unforgettable.
