Unicorns of Diving dives throughout Florida and travels around the world. Dive Stories highlights selected trip recaps, destination adventures, service projects, water safety work, and the connections made in and around the water.
You will not find a long article after every trip. You will find regular stories that show what it means to dive more often, explore new places, support one another, and build confidence in and around the water.
Expanding Access to Scuba and Marine Science
Unicorns of Diving partnered with Black In Marine Science for nine days of scuba training, mentorship, and marine conservation. Eleven participants entered the program, and all 11 completed their Open Water certifications.

On June 14, Unicorns of Diving joined Emerald Charters for a day offshore with calm conditions, plenty of shark activity, and a dive-day energy that stayed with the group long after the gear came off.
After the dive, the crew asked members to share their reactions. The result is an unscripted look at the experience through the divers who were actually in the water.
What was in the water? The charter reported roughly a dozen lemon sharks, four nurse sharks, a silky shark, and several Goliath grouper during the day’s dives.
Emerald Charters highlighted a dive day that was both memorable and safe. For the Unicorns, it was another chance to experience Florida diving together and come back with a story worth telling.

Beyond the Dive
Some of our most important stories happen before anyone enters the water or away from the dive site. Water safety, youth access, and community service are part of how the Unicorns give back.
From Nervous to Confident in the Water
A young swimmer began our free swim lesson program nervous and unsure in the water. Instruction, encouragement, and practice led to new skills and growing confidence.

Unicorns of Diving joined Truth Center Church’s Serve25 Back to School event, donating shoes, volunteering during the event, and contributing $500 to support local children and families.
